A Collaborative Effort for Sustainable Growth – The policy framework was developed through a consultative process, incorporating inputs from leaders of SLASSCOM member companies and other key stakeholders. It emphasizes the importance of long-term, consistent policies to drive sustainable growth in the knowledge and innovation sector.

The framework also highlights the critical role of the knowledge and innovation (IT&BPM) sector as a key contributor to Sri Lanka’s export economy. By strengthening the country’s capacity to innovate and build a globally competitive workforce, the recommendations aim to bolster foreign exchange earnings and contribute significantly to overall economic development.

Positioning Sri Lanka on the Global Stage –This strategic policy framework is expected to position Sri Lanka as a major player in the global knowledge and innovation economy. The knowledge and innovation (IT&BPM) sector has been a significant driver of export growth, and these recommendations will further enhance the sector’s ability to compete internationally while supporting national economic goals.
