MSc Accounting and Finance (Top-up) at Oxford College of Business

The 60-credit, fast-track MSc Accounting & Finance (Top-up) program at Oxford College of Business Sri Lanka (in collaboration with Arden University) is intended for applicants who have earned their ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent accounting certifications within the previous ten years.

You will obtain six module exemptions (totaling 120 credits) from their regular MSc Accounting and Finance course if you have previously studied with the ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or a comparable professional body and have qualified accountant status. Compared to completing the entire 180-credit MSc program, this offers a rare chance to earn a thorough postgraduate degree at a substantially lower tuition cost and in a shorter amount of time.

You may perform a thorough investigation of emerging accounting and finance technologies including distributed ledgers, blockchain, fintech, and cloud computing with the Financial Management Project module. Leading international professional accounting bodies have also recognized and approved Oxford College of Business’s MSc Accounting and Finance (Top-up) program in partnership with Arden University (UK). These organizations include:

  • Chartered Certified Accountants Association (ACCA)

  • Institute of Management Accountants, or CIMA

  • England and Wales’ Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW)

With up to 120 credits in exemptions, these recognitions enable fully qualified members of ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW to proceed straight to the MSc’s final stage via an accelerated Top-up route.
