Gateway’s Adheesha wins Junior National Scrabble Championship


Adheesha Dissanayake of Gateway College has continued his winning streak by winning the Junior National Scrabble Championship (Under 20). His teammates, Ilham Irshad was placed third and Imad Irshad was placed seventh. The third of the Irshad brothers, Inam won the Best Player’s Award for Under 12 and was placed 4th in the under 15 division. Tharun Priyadharshan also qualified to play for the final round.
