Sri Lankan digital learning platform ReadyMe recently launched a series of school-focused educational programs, holding its inaugural session at Nalanda College, Colombo, to support students preparing for their Ordinary Level (O/L) examinations.
The interactive session focused on Sinhala and was led by educator Pradeep Ranathungaarachchi, who demonstrated how digital tools can complement classroom instruction by breaking down complex language concepts into manageable learning steps for students.
Highlighting the initiative’s broader vision, ReadyMe Representative Seneli Jayasinghe stated that the company aims to collaborate directly with students, tutors, and parents to build structured, accessible, and engaging educational experiences. Jayasinghe noted that bringing digital resources directly into schools helps address real-world learning challenges and encourages active parental involvement.
Ranathungaarachchi emphasized that technology should be viewed as an opportunity rather than a replacement for educators, enabling tutors to extend their reach beyond physical classrooms while adapting traditional teaching methods for a digital era.
The Nalanda College event marks the start of ReadyMe’s ongoing effort to bridge the gap between digital platforms and school communities across Sri Lanka. (Eduwire)
