Three-Week Training Programme in India for Government Hindi Language Teachers – May/June 2025

Location : The Central Institute of Hindi, Agra, India.

Key areas focused : Pedagogy, modern teaching methodologies, and the
use of educational resources

Organizers : High Commission of India and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre,
Colombo

Duration : Three weeks (tentatively scheduled for May–June 2025)

Financial Arrangements : Covered by the Government of India :

  • Tuition
  • Local transportation in India

To be borne by participants : Airfare to and from India

Eligibility Criteria :

  • A degree with Hindi as a subject
  • Current employment as a Hindi language teacher in a government school with relevant teaching experience
