Swinburne UniLink Diploma programs – NCHS

The Swinburne pathways offered at Nawaloka College of Higher Studies (NCHS) is the only guaranteed pathway to Swinburne University of Technology available in Sri Lanka. With a strong focus on delivering excellence in education, Swinburne University of Technology offers UniLink Diplomas, which are higher education credentials that offer an alternate route to a bachelor’s degree. Although the coursework for a UniLink diploma is similar to that of bachelor’s degree programs, you’ll be far more prepared for success because of the increased contact hours, lower class numbers, and more one-on-one time with your lecturers.

Entry Requirements

Academic entry requirements :

  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 3 subjects in the UK or Sri Lanka GCE A Levels – Standard Entry.

  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 3 subjects and a minimum score of 6 in the UK or Sri Lanka GCE A Levels – Predicted grade.

English proficiency requirements :

  • Sri Lankan GCE O level – C grade for English Language and successful completion of A levels

  • Sri Lankan GCE A level – C grade for General English

  • UK/Cambridge GCE O levels – Grade C in English subject

  • UK/Cambridge GCE A levels – a ‘C’ Grade in one of ;

AS or A Level General Paper,

AS or A Level General Studies,

AS or A Level English language,

AS or A level English Literature,

AS or A level English Language and Literature.

Courses

Students will have the option of pursuing Business, IT, Engineering or Health Science streams with the following programs:

  • Diploma of Business (UniLink)

  • Diploma of Engineering (UniLink)

  • Diploma of Information Technology (UniLink)

  • Diploma of Health Science (UniLink)

Destination courses

Depending on the degree and major you choose, successful completion of all units of study grants admission to Swinburne’s bachelor’s program in either Australia or Malaysia, with advanced standing of up to one year of full-time study. As a result, you will have more time to finish your bachelor’s degree. Swinburne University of Technology provides a variety of single and double degrees.
