The All Ceylon School Development Officers Association has launched a protest in Colombo today.
According to media reports, the protest is being staged calling for School Development Officers to be absorbed into the teaching service immediately.
Over a thousand School Development Officers are said to be participating in the protest which has caused severe traffic congestion from the Fort Railway Station towards Galle Face Green.
