
The Ministry of Education says the second academic term for the year 2024 for Muslim Government Schools will begin on Thursday this week.
According to the Education Ministry, the second term will commence on June 14 and conclude on September 13.
The second term for Sinhala and Tamil schools commenced on June 03 and is scheduled to end on August 16.
As per the school calendar for the academic year 2024, the third school term for Sinhala and Tamil schools is scheduled to commence on August 26.
For Muslim schools, the third school term is scheduled to commence on September 19.
The 2024 academic year will conclude on January 17, 2025, for all Sinhala, Tamil, and Muslim government schools.
