Odyssey 4.0: Empowering future leaders with AIESEC


AIESEC in University of Ruhuna is gearing up to host the fourth edition of its highly anticipated leadership development seminar, Odyssey 4.0. The event is scheduled to take place on October 5 and 6, 2024, at the Lavanga Hotel in Galle.

Building on the momentum of previous seminars, Odyssey 4.0 aims to bring together 150 AIESEC members who are undergraduates from the University of Ruhuna. The seminar is designed to be a comprehensive platform for young leaders to hone their skills through a series of engaging activities, and motivational talks delivered by seasoned professionals and alumni.

Being the world’s largest global youth led organization with over 40,000 active member base, AIESEC (or the International Association of Students of Economics and Commercial Sciences) promotes cross-cultural understanding among various nations by offering opportunities for international internships and volunteer experiences abroad, strengthening friendship with more than 120 countries.

AIESEC aims to develop youth’s leadership qualities through international professional placements and Global Volunteer and Global Talent Experiences. Odyssey 4.0 is set to offer a myriad of opportunities for personal and professional growth, and emphasizing the importance of collaboration, innovation, and effective leadership.

Odyssey 4.0 seeks to build on this spirit of unity and excellence. It is more than just a seminar; it is a journey towards becoming effective leaders and responsible global citizens.
