O/Level Practical Exams : Announcement from Exam Dept

The Department of Examinations has announced that the Practical Exams of the GCE Ordinary Level Examinations 2024 (2025) will be held in May 2025.

According to the Commissioner General of Examinations, the Practical Exams will be held from 21-31 May at 1,228 examination centres nationwide for 171,100 candidates.

The Exam Department states it is mandatory for students to appear for both the written and practical tests, as the marks from both tests will be used to determine the final results of the subjects.

It is reported that the admission forms and timetables of school applicants have been sent to the relevant principals, and the admission forms of private applicants have been sent to the residential address they have mentioned in their application.

The Exam Department further states that admission cards can be downloaded from 19 May 2025 from the department’s official website, www.doenets.lk, by entering the examination index number.
