NCC International Foundation Year (UIFY) at UCL

A one-year pre-university certification, NCC International Foundation Year (UIFY) is designed for students who have finished their O-Levels (and even A-Levels) but want to solidify their intellectual background before starting undergraduate studies. With the help of UIFY, which is granted by NCC Education UK,  a global awarding body well established all around the world in more than 50 countries with more than 200 branches, students can directly enroll in Year 1 of some undergraduate programs both domestically and abroad by gaining the necessary academic abilities and topic knowledge in addition to English fluency.

  • Duration – 10 Months

  • Study Model – 2 Trimesters

Admission Requirements

Students must;

  • Complete their GCSE/IGCSE ‘O’ Levels with minimum grades of ‘C’, ‘5’ or equivalent in each. These should include Mathematics and English.

  • Have a valid score of 4.5 or above in IELTS examination or equivalent for students whose first language is not English.

  • Alternatively, students can take the free NCC Education Standard English Placement Test (EPT).

Curriculum Structure

This program offers a well-rounded curriculum, designed to prepare students for successful undergraduate studies. The program is typically completed over 10 months and includes a combination of core and elective modules focused on academic development, subject knowledge, and English proficiency.
