The Ministry of Education has provided a clarification on recent claims made by a trade unionist from the Education Sector about admissions for school students and transfers of officials.
The ministry said the admission of students to intermediate grades in government schools and government-approved private schools for 2024, as per the Education Ministry’s circular, has been concluded.
The Education Ministry further said that following the announcement of the presidential elections on 26 July, the issuance of admission letters for school students and transfers of officials was suspended.
The ministry revealed that a trade unionist from the Education Sector was making false claims in this regard.
