SAB Campus Empowers Students Nationwide Through Sisu Diri Scholarship Fund

Reaffirming its dedication to empowering academically gifted students across the nation, the SAB Campus of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) proudly announced the awarding of full scholarships under its flagship Sisu Diri Scholarship Fund.

Established by SAB Campus, the Sisu Diri Scholarship Fund aims to eliminate financial barriers and enable deserving students to pursue their higher education dreams. This year, five outstanding students representing the Western, North Western, North Central, Sabaragamuwa, and Eastern provinces were awarded full scholarships, demonstrating the institute’s commitment to promoting equitable access to quality education across Sri Lanka.

Each scholarship, valued at LKR 930,000, provides a comprehensive support package that includes full tuition fee coverage, access to exclusive campus networking events, a guaranteed two-year internship, and a clear pathway toward becoming a Chartered Accountant with exemptions from two academic levels.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on their academic excellence at the G.C.E. A/L Examination and their financial need, ensuring that talent and determination, not circumstance, determine access to higher education.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Heshana Kuruppu, President of CA Sri Lanka, stated, “Through the Sisu Diri Scholarship Fund, we are extending our commitment beyond classrooms to ensure that every deserving student, regardless of their background, has equal access to quality higher education.”

The fund is sustained through the generous contributions of CA Sri Lanka members, alumni, and well-wishers, all united by a shared vision of investing in the future of Sri Lanka’s youth.

Applications for the 2026 Sisu Diri Scholarships will open in February 2026.
