Scholarship Opportunity at Shobit Institute of Engineering and Technology, India

The Ministry of Education, Higher Educational and Vocational Training (Higher Education Division) is welcoming applications for the AARDO–SIET Scholarship Programme (2025–2026), offered by the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) in partnership with the Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET), India.

You can pursue the programs; Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), Master of Technology (M.Tech.), or Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs at SIET and these programs are available for international students.

Scholarship Benefits

  • 50% waiver on the total tuition fees

  • Hostel fees up to an upper ceiling of Rs. 20,000/- only*(approximately US 250)

  • One Time Both Way Air Tickets

Important: Each year, the period of study program is 2/4 years as applicable and only for five candidates based on the merit list to be provided by the selection committee of SIET and on status of membership contribution of participant’s country.

Scholarship Eligibility

General Criteria:

  • Citizens of an AARDO member country.

  • Only applicants living/working in AARDO countries are eligible

  • Applicants should be enrolled in the programe full time

  • All applications will be screened and evaluated by a selection committee

Minimum qualifications:

1. B.Sc. Agriculture Honors – Bachelor of Science (4 Years)

  • Admission to B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture Programs is open to candidates who have Passed (10+2)/ Intermediate/ Higher Secondary from any approved Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Agriculture.

2. B.Tech. – Bachelor of Technology (4 Years)

  • Admission to B.Tech. Programs is open to a student who passed/ appeared Intermediate/ Higher Secondary (10+2) from any approved Board with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics /Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

3. M.Tech. – Master of Technology (2 Years)

  • Admission to M. Tech Programs is open to a student who passed B.Tech. or an equivalent degree in the allied branch of Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University or MCA or M.Sc. degree in a related branch with 60% or higher aggregate marks from a recognized University.

4. MBA – Master of Business Administration (2 Years)

  • Admission to MBA Program is open to candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
