Based on the 7 Global Goals mission, the Global Goals Summit is the sixth youth conference that links aspiring young leaders with international speakers from Global Goals specialists, lecturers, and changemakers. The goal of the fifth annual summit is to train urban youth to follow the SDGs agenda in their home countries and to create new urban agents.
Date: 22nd – 24th January 2026, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Participants in the Global Goals Summit engage in a variety of activities designed to foster leadership and global awareness. These include an international SDGs conference featuring international speakers from government, innovation, activism, and development sectors who share their insights and best practices.
The summit also includes a “Mastermind Leadership” component, where participants work through case studies and discussions focused on multiculturalism, diversity, empathy, critical thinking and collaborative problem‑solving. This component encourages youth to reflect on real-world challenges and build leadership qualities grounded in social responsibility.
In addition, the program emphasises social engagement and humanitarian awareness. Through its “Social & Peace Project,” participants are given opportunities to design and implement community‑based projects, for example, working with refugee communities to promote education and empowerment. Such initiatives provide hands‑on experience in applying leadership and social innovation skills in real settings.
Cultural exchange and group collaboration are also central to the summit’s structure. Interactive sessions aim to foster empathy, respect for diversity, and deeper cross‑cultural understanding among participants. Group challenges encourage teamwork, creative problem solving, and the development of actionable solutions to educational or social challenges.
At the end of the event, the summit concludes with a formal awarding ceremony and a gala dinner, celebrating participants’ contributions, recognising outstanding ideas and projects, and strengthening the sense of a global youth community committed to sustainable development and social change.
Overall, the Global Goals Summit presents itself as a global gathering of motivated youth committed to learning, leadership, humanitarian engagement, and collaborative innovation to further the Sustainable Development Goals. It invites young people from diverse backgrounds to connect, learn, and contribute toward building a more just, sustainable, and inclusive future.
