
The Department of Examinations has officially released the examination schedule for June 2025, covering a range of competitive bar examinations conducted by various government ministries and departments.
According to Commissioner General of Examinations, A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage, the examinations will be held primarily in Colombo, with certain examinations taking place island wide. These examinations are crucial for recruitment, promotions, and certification within government sectors.
1. June 7 – First Efficiency Bar Examination for Legal Officers in Grade III of the Executive Service Category under the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education – 2024 (2025), will be held in Colombo.
2. June 8 – Open Competitive Examination for recruiting Technical Officers in the Supervisory Management Assistant – Technical Service Category of the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs – 2025.
3. June 14 – Competitive Examination to fill vacancies in the Management Service Officers’ Cadre at Sri Lanka Missions Abroad – 2024 (2025).
4. June 15 – Open Competitive Examination for the post of Railway Guard, Grade III in the Sri Lanka Railway Department – 2024 (2025).
5. June 21 – Recruitment examination for Grade III posts in various technical areas (such as Permanent Ways, Bridges, Buildings, Workshops, Running Sheds, Signal and Telecommunications) of the Railway Supervisory Management Service – 2024 (2025).
6. June 22 – National Dancing and Music Examination* – 2024 (2025) will be conducted island wide.
7. June 28 – Second Efficiency Bar Examination for Grade II Officers of the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service – 2024 (2025).
8. June 28 & 29 – Final Certificate Examinations for both Catholic and Hindu Daham Pasal students – 2024 (2025), will be held across the country.
