The Department of Examinations has extended the deadline for applications for the 2024 (2025) G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination to December 10, 2024.
Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara stated that the decision was made due to recent adverse weather conditions affecting communities across the island.
The Department stressed that it will only acccept online submissions through its official websites—www.doenets.lk or www.onlineexams.gov.lk/eic—will be accepted.
School applicants must apply through their school principals, while private applicants can submit applications independently.
