Addressing the participants, Deputy Speaker Rizvie Salih described the Parliament of Sri Lanka as one of the most beautiful and unique parliaments in the world. He emphasised the importance of representing the public with integrity by respecting traditions, maintaining discipline, and adhering to parliamentary rules.

Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Hiniduma Sunil Senevi highlighted that it is the duty of every parliamentarian to use respectful language, reject inappropriate bills, and work towards building a better society for future generations.

J. M. Wijebandara, Director General (Legal) of the Presidential Secretariat, reminded students that no citizen should be subjected to discrimination.

Meanwhile, M. Jayalath Perera, Director (Legislative Services) and Acting Director (Communications) of Parliament, spoke on the importance of nurturing children’s leadership qualities.
