AIESEC in Colombo North and Rotaract Colombo Mid Town Introduce CSR Project: Bloom 2026

Following the success of its first chapter, Bloom returns in 2026 with a renewed vision, focusing on Galaha Divisional Hospital and the healthcare needs of the surrounding community. The initiative seeks to address existing resource shortages by providing essential medical supplies and equipment through community donations.

Bloom 2026 is being carried out as a collaborative initiative between AIESEC in Colombo North and Rotaract Colombo Mid Town, bringing together the two organizations in a shared effort to support rural healthcare and serve the community. The team have joined forces to present Bloom 2026, a collaborative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at creating meaningful and sustainable change in rural healthcare across Sri Lanka.

Serving both children and families in the local community, Galaha Divisional Hospital plays an important role in providing essential healthcare services. However, shortages of medical equipment and supplies can create challenges in delivering quality patient care. Recognizing this need, Bloom project aims to strengthen the hospital’s resources and contribute to a better healthcare environment for patients and healthcare professionals. As the Title Partner of Bloom 2026, Vanni Hope has made a significant contribution to the initiative, while the project is further strengthened by the generous support of its other corporate and community partners.

Through this collaborative project, the team seeks to make a lasting contribution to the community by transforming compassion into meaningful action. Bloom 2026 represents a shared commitment to strengthening rural healthcare, fostering hope, and building a healthier and brighter future for the community
