Unresolved disciplinary investigations putting pupils at danger: General Auditor

The Auditor General has pointed out that the Education Ministry has not acted quickly enough to address numerous disciplinary investigations.

“The implications of the Ministry’s inability to act promptly in this respect have escalated to the extent of establishing unsafe conditions for pupils inside the school system, which is currently obvious.”, Auditor General emphasized (SJ).

The Auditor General noted in the Education Ministry’s 2024 Performance Report that, as of March 31, 39 disciplinary investigations remained open inside the ministry.
