2024 A/L exam : Update from Exam Dept

The 2024 GCE Advanced Level Examination will not be postponed and will be held as scheduled, the Department of Examinations announced today.

The Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara said the GCE Advanced Level Examination will be conducted from November 25 until December 20.

Addressing the media today, he further requested students to download their examination timetable only from the Examinations Department’s official website.

Stating that the date of the examination was decided in March, he pointed out that a lot of misinformation is being shared about the examination on social media at present.

“Please follow only the official announcements and circulars issued by the Examination Department and on its official website. Do not fall victim to fake news being circulated at present,” he requested from students sitting for the exam.
