Applications for Homoeopathy Medical Degree Scholarships under the Sponsorship of the Government of India 2025/2026 are now open for Sri Lankan students.

The Indigenous Medicine Section of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media is accepting applications for the selection of scholarships for 10 Sri Lankan students enrolled in the Homoeopathy Medical Degree Program for the Academic Year 2025–2026 at the National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), located in Kolkata and affiliated with the University of Western Bengal, with Government of India sponsorship.

• Duration – 5 1/2 years

• Deadline – 15.08.2025

After successful completion, you can practice as a Homoeopathy Medical Practitioner after being registered with Homoeopathy Council.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have passed all three subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the Science stream on one sitting along with a pass for general English at the G.C.E. Advanced Level.

• Should have passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level with a C pass for English Language.

• Candidates should be of the the ages between 18-25.

Method of Applying

• Send a self prepared application (Bio-Data), clearly mentioning the name. address, date of birth, age, standard and mobile phone numbers.

• Note that it is essential to mention the telephone numbers to contact the applicant.

• You should send your educational qualifications and the years in which the G.C.E. (A/L & O/L Examinations were passed etc. along with the certified copies of all certificates under registered post to the address given below or hand delivered to receive on or before 15.08.2025.

• Copy of the perfected application should be sent to the following email address.
