AIESEC is not just Volunteer work. It is a worldwide movement created by youth, for youth.
AIESEC is the largest youth-led organization in the world, present in more than 100 countries. It is not a travel agency, NGO, or another student society. It is a global platform where young people grow into leaders through hands-on experiences.
Every AIESEC project is built around action. Instead of sitting in lectures, you dive into real challenges. Through Global Volunteering project, you don’t just travel abroad, you immerse yourself in communities, working on issues that matter: education, health, climate change, and local development.
Each initiative is tied to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), meaning your work contributes to a bigger mission of building a better world.
But here’s the part most people miss: AIESEC is also about discovering yourself. You’ll collaborate with peers from across the globe, take on leadership roles, make tough decisions, and return home with a stronger sense of confidence and purpose.
What makes AIESEC unique is that it’s entirely youth-run. Students and recent graduates manage everything, from exchange programs to national operations. It’s truly for youth, by youth.
So if you’re a young Sri Lankan looking to do something meaningful, explore new cultures, and grow into someone driven by purpose, AIESEC could be your starting point.
