The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has identified a fake WhatsApp group claiming to gather teachers from across the country under the title, “The Educational Council Emerging Through the New Educational Reforms.”
The Ministry clarifies that this group, and any messages shared within it, are neither operated nor approved by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education. The Ministry further states that it bears no responsibility for any activities conducted through this group.
The purpose of such fake groups appears to be spreading misinformation and attempting to discredit the new educational reform program and the government. Therefore, the public is urged to remain cautious and verify the authenticity of information related to both national and international events before sharing and responding.
