Adoraqmus te christe -St Cecilia’s Choir of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo


The “20th Annual Holy Week Choral Presentation” of St Cecilia’s Choir of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo tittled ” Adoraqmus te christe “( We adore thee o’ Christ ) was held on Palm Sunday, 24th of March at 6:00 p.m. at the College Chapel.

Organized for the purpose of remembering the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, this choral Presentation was presided over by His Lordship, Ret. Rev. Dr. Winston Fernando , the Emeritus Bishop of Badulla.

On that day, apart from the present and past students of St Joseph’s College, Bambalapitiya Holy Family Convent, Kotahena Good Shepherd’s Convent sang and Bambalapitiya St. Peter’s College Western Band performed melodious music.

Under the patronage of Rev Fr. Ranjith Andradi , the Rector of St. Joseph’s College and the organizing committee headed by Rev. Fr Samesh Anthony, Priest in charge of Choir, Francis de Almeida Choral Director organized this Choral presentation.
