The Josephian Cycle Parade 2026 was officially unveiled at a press conference held on Friday, 17th April 2026 at Embrax Colombo, marking the return of a cherished tradition in a more sustainable and socially impactful form.
In light of the ongoing fuel challenges in the country, the organising committee has taken a forward thinking and environmentally responsible decision to transform the traditional vehicle parade into a cycle parade. This initiative not only addresses current realities but also reinforces a strong commitment to eco friendly practices, while preserving the proud legacy of the event.

Organised by the St. Joseph’s College, Colombo 10 – Josephian Vehicle Parade Committee, the Josephian Cycle Parade 2026 promises to bring together Josephians, well wishers, and the wider community in a vibrant celebration of unity, tradition, and social responsibility.
Over the years, the Josephian Vehicle Parade has evolved into a signature event, strengthening the bond between past and present Josephians, while serving as a meaningful platform to support worthy causes. This year’s edition, reimagined as a cycle parade, is set to deliver an energetic and creative experience, fostering participation and community spirit alongside impactful fundraising and awareness initiatives.

The organisers proudly announced CK Orbits – Dubai as the Main Sponsor of the event, with Soqka Batik joining as an Event Partner for 2026.
The Gold Sponsors for the event include IBFS (Pvt) Ltd, Dastol Motors Lanka, Kobra Energy Drink, Coco Varenda Restaurants, Mind Three Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, Master Mind Developers (Pvt) Ltd, Fortune Films, Scan Me, and Wickey Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd.
The Silver Partners comprise Abanchy (Pvt) Ltd, Sensory Indulgences, U.B. Perera & Company, Apartner, Thilakawardhana Group of Companies, Cannys Bakers & Restaurants, St. John’s Catering, and Fortune Studios.

The organising committee emphasised that their partner organisations share a collective vision of creating meaningful impact beyond business. Their support reflects a deep rooted commitment to uplifting communities and contributing to socially responsible initiatives.
Proceeds and efforts from the Josephian Cycle Parade 2026 will support the “Break the Silence” initiative, with a focus on the Smart Board Donation Project for the School for the Deaf and Blind in Ratmalana. This initiative aims to enhance educational experiences through modern technology, empowering students and creating long-term positive change.

More than just a parade, the Josephian Cycle Parade 2026 represents a movement towards sustainability, unity, and purposeful community engagement.
The organising committee extended its sincere appreciation to all sponsors, partners, and supporters for their invaluable contributions and expressed confidence in delivering a memorable and impactful event.
