The National Cadet Corps (NCC) of Sri Lanka is set to roll out a series of competitions and camps under its guiding motto “Never Be Unprepared.”
Operating under the National Human Resource Mobilisation and Supplementary Force Act No. 40 of 1985, the NCC draws students from schools across the country.
Major General A. P. Rajitha Premathilaka RSP, USP, the NCC Director, announced that these activities are designed to enhance leadership, discipline, and readiness among cadets.
Participants can expect a blend of competitive events, including drills, marksmanship, fieldcraft, and team challenges, alongside immersive training camps aimed at physical fitness, survival skills, and character building. Through these initiatives, NCC aims not only to bolster national resilience but also to empower youth with skills of responsibility, teamwork, and civic consciousness.
