NASA Recognizes Youngest Sri Lankan Researcher

Thepulee Wannakukorala, a student of the City School of Architecture has made history as the youngest Sri Lankan researcher to have a scientific paper recognized and accepted by NASA—a truly one-in-a-million achievement for both her and the nation!

Her 2020 research on Thermo Nano Cells has become a game changer for the fields of research and architecture as her study successfully captured the attention of NASA’s top research divisions, opening doors for potential future collaborations with the agency.

This special moment undoubtedly stands as a proud and historic milestone for Sri Lanka, with Thepulee emerging as a shining example of the country’s innovative and talented youth.
