Notice for schools in Western & Southern Provinces

A decision has been taken to open schools in two provinces amidst the prevalent inclement weather conditions in Sri Lanka.

According to Provincial Directors of Education, schools in the Western and Southern provinces will open tomorrow (Oct 16).

However, schools affected by floods and those used as shelters for flood-affected people will remain closed, they added.

Schools in the Western and Southern provinces were closed yesterday and today due to adverse weather conditions.
