#ProYouth Competition 2025: Where Innovation Meets Productivity

#ProYouth : Digital Technology Project Proposal and Al Video Competition for Young Creators.

In line with the National Productivity Secretariat, the ProYouth competition 2025, under the theme, “Youth Inputs for productivity”, will be launched to empower young communities across the country to present creative solutions that enhance innovation and productivity.

The competition will feature two categories and is open to young innovators between the ages 16 and 24.

Competition Category 01 :

  • A project proposal competition on improving an existing process in the public or private sector using AI or Digital technology, under the theme, “The Future through Young Eyes”.

Competition Category 02 :

  • An AI video competition based on productivity and innovation, relevant to the theme, “Productivity for Youth Life”.

Guidelines

If you are applying, make sure you adhere to the following guidelines.

  • Submissions must contain the identified problem, your solution, the method of implementing that solution, and the expected result.

  • Only one submission can be presented per competitor.

  • The submission must be the competitor’s own creation.

  • The video must be 10-30 seconds long, and written project proposals should be 1000 words. PPT slides should not exceed 10.

  • Written submissions must be presented in PDF format.

  • Prompts used for the video creation must be submitted upon notification from the National Productivity Secretariat.

Winners from each district will be welcome at a public exhibition and an oral evaluation during Productivity Promotion Week, held from September 8-14.

The first-place winners will go on to be evaluated at the National Productivity Conference in Colombo, while other winners will receive certificates in recognition of their contributions.
