University of Nicosia (UNIC) — one of Europe’s largest English-taught universities, with campuses in Cyprus and Greece — marked a significant milestone in Sri Lanka’s higher education landscape through a landmark three-day engagement in Kandy, organised in collaboration with Global Study Connect (GSC). Held from 7th to 9th May 2026, the programme brought together school leaders, business representatives, education counsellors, institutional partners, students, and parents for a series of high-level discussions focused on global education and international academic collaboration. The initiative concluded with the formal appointment of Global Study Connect as the University of Nicosia’s authorised service provider in Sri Lanka.
