
The Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka kept another foot forward, enabling the CMA students in pursuing academic qualifications from the University of the West of England, Bristol signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bristol Institute of Business Management who is an esteemed partner to the University of the West of England, Bristol (United Kingdom), in Sri Lanka on the 22nd March 2024, at 29/24, Visakha Private Road, Colombo 04.
The Bristol Institute of Business Management (BIBM) having its registered office at No 07, Walukarama Road, Colombo 03, joined hands in signing the MOU by Associate Prof. Dr. Ali Najeeb the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute where is a partnership with the University of the West of England, Bristol (United Kingdom) while Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala the founder President and the President of the CMA and another council member Mr. Ruchira Perera and The Actg. Chief Executive officer Mr. Kosala Dissanayake signed as witness to the signatories. On behalf of BIBM Mr. Dilshad Jiffry, the Chief Operating Officer and Mr. Abdul Munnim the Chief Finance Officer signed as witnesses. The CMA Council Member Mr. Gajendran, The Director Examinations Mrs. Madumi Perera Ginigaddarage, and The MOU Coordinator Asst. Manager Administration Mrs. Nishanthi Dissanayake were also in this occasion while, Mr. Yadhava Prasath the Marketing Manager and Ms. Mary Lanshiya the Senior Academic Administrator, were there on behalf of BIBM.
With placing the signature to this MOU, CMA- Sri Lanka & BIBM agreed to;
With this entered partnership between the two parties it is expected to build-up a strong fruitful relationship between the two institutes enabling students of both the institutes to capture a win-win situation for their mutual benefit enabling them to become a part of the accelerated future accountants with a strong academic qualification and make it truly a reality.
