AARDO’s Scholarship for Master’s Degree Programme – Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education (Higher Education Division)

In partnership with the Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul, University of Yeungnam, Government of the Republic of Korea, the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) is giving promising young officials from member nations the chance to pursue (one and a half year/ four semesters) at the Department of Saemaul and International Development, Department of Public Policy and Leadership, Department of Sustainable Development of the Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul, Yeungnam University.

Application will be open from 22nd September 2025 and deadline for online Application is 17th October 2025.

• Duration : 1.5 Years (04 Semesters)

• Public Policy and Leadership

• Forest and Environmental Policy

Eligibility Criteria

• Completed 12 Years of formal education covering elementary, middle, and high school (or its equivalent) prior to undergraduate studies.

• Obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, equivalent to a 4 – year Korean bachelor’s degree

• Demonstrate a high-level Proficiency in English.

• Must be below 50 years of age.

• Must be in good health (candidates with contagious diseases, tuberculosis, or pregnancy may be disqualified)

• Must obtain travel and health insurance.

First three semesters coursework can be pursued in Korea whereas final semester thesis preparation can be done either in Korea or home country and if additional travel to Korea is required, costs must be borne by candidates.

Included (Borne by AARDO) and partner institution :

• Admission fee

• Tuition fee

• Return Journey air ticket by economy class(from Capital City to Seoul)

• Living allowance for 12 Months (@KRW 1 million/month)

Exclusions (to be borne by the candidate) :

• Application fee

• Boarding and lodging

• Passport, Visa fee, Vaccination, Airport taxes etc.

• Travel and health insurance premium, Telephone calls, Laundry, Medical expenses

• Extra baggage allowance

Submission of the copy of duly endorsed form and letter of recommendation of the Ministry
along with the passport copy to AARDO Secretariat by 25th October 2025 through the Email
