St Bridget’s Convent shines at Singapore International Choral Festival

St Bridget’s Convent, Colombo, has brought international recognition to Sri Lanka after winning one gold and two silver awards at the Singapore International Choral Festival 2026.

The school’s choir, comprising 175 choristers across all competition categories, secured a Gold Award in the A1 category, a Silver Award in the Sacra Open Category, and a Silver Award in the Folklore Open Category.

Celebrating the achievement, the school credited the dedication and commitment of its choristers, choir directresses and support team, noting that months of rehearsals and hard work had culminated in the success on the international stage.

The school also expressed gratitude for the achievement, describing it as the result of the collective efforts, sacrifices and perseverance of everyone involved.
