CIPM’s Impactful Breast Cancer Initiatives

CIPM Sri Lanka marked the conclusion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month with two impactful initiatives led by the Standing Committee on Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusivity, reaffirming the institution’s dedication to promoting health and well-being across its stakeholder community.

Awareness Session – The session was conducted in collaboration with the Roshan Mahanama Trust and Indira Cancer Trust. It focused on empowering participants through knowledge, emphasizing the importance of early detection.

Breast Cancer Health Clinic – Organized on 1st November 2025 in partnership with Lanka Hospitals, the clinic offered complimentary health screenings. These included Blood Pressure checks, Random Blood Sugar (RBS) tests, BMI assessments for both male and female staff, and specialized breast cancer screenings for female participants.

Over 100 stakeholders, including staff, students, members, faculty, and examiners, actively participated in these initiatives, demonstrating strong support for this vital cause.

CIPM Sri Lanka extends heartfelt gratitude to all contributors who helped make these efforts a resounding success.
