
The 2025 General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O/L) examination began today at 3,545 examination centers across the island.
Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Liyanage instructed candidates to report to their respective examination centers at least one hour before the scheduled start time, carrying their admission cards and valid identification documents.
A total of 451,463 candidates are sitting for the examination this year. Of them, 382,249 are school candidates, while 69,214 are private candidates.
