
The doors of creativity in the performing arts were opened on the 22nd of March as the Junior School students of Asian International School took the stage at the Bishop’s College Auditorium.
The evening was filled with excitement and anticipation as students showcased their musical and dance abilities through vibrant performances. From melodic solo acts to energetic group dances, the young performers captivated the audience with their passion and dedication. The undiluted dedication rendered by the music teacher, Ms. Niroshini Gunatilake, dance teacher, Mr. Harun Suseru, and choreographer, Ms. Umeshi Rajeendra spun out a web of gold in the areas of music, dance and theater.
Production assistants, Aanya Holsinger and David Maurice and the AIS staff of the Junior school, under the guidance and stewardship of Ms. Aasha Jaleel, Head of Junior school ensured a seamless flow of items during the entire production.
The atmosphere was electric as cheers and applause echoed through the auditorium, encouraging the students to shine even brighter. It was a magical night where young talents flourished, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
