A Bold Leap into the Future of Higher Education
April 21st, 2025 – ANC Education, Sri Lanka’s pioneering private higher education provider since 2002, proudly announces the grand opening of its newest academic building, located at 416 R.A. De Mel Mawatha, Colombo 03. This landmark event marks the beginning of ANC Education’s transformation aimed at empowering the next generation of global learners supplemented by the new management and its visionary leadership.
Spanning across multiple floors, the new campus building is equipped with smart classrooms, a vibrant student lounge, collaborative study areas in the new tech enabled library, and a new cafeteria serving as a social hub for students. Designed to inspire creativity and connection, the building is a symbol of ANC’s promise to deliver not just degrees, but transformative journeys through an enhanced student life experience.
ANC has pioneered the transnational education space with over 22,000+ undergraduate and postgraduate alumni from partner universities such as Northwood University (USA) and the University of West London (UK). Furthermore, ANC has diligently worked with other globally recognized transfer universities across the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand with 98 % visa success rate in placing transfer students. This has enabled ANC to consistently redefine the educational landscape in Sri Lanka. The new campus launch aligns with its expansion goals and strategic repositioning, offering a premium experience tailored to the evolving expectations of today’s students.

The ceremony also featured speeches by Mr. Tharaka Kodippili, General Manager – Operations, who emphasized ANC’s shift into experiential learning and digital integration, and Dr. Sai Sanathani Sridharan, Head of Academics, who reiterated the institution’s academic rigor and global pathways. The ceremony concluded with a campus tour to esteemed guests led by Mr. Danushan Karuppiah, Deputy General Manager – Marketing and Enrolment Management.
In addition to the new campus at 416 R.A. De Mel Mawatha, ANC Education has also renovated and upgraded its original academic building at No. 308, R.A. De Mel Mawatha the institution’s founding location in 2002. The upgrades include a fully refurbished auditorium, a state-of-the-art science laboratory, and a modernized computer lab. A newly constructed Moot Court has also been added to support the Law degree program awarded by the University of West London. Several new classrooms, collectively accommodating over six hundred students have been introduced to enhance the academic environment. Together, these advancements underscore ANC’s commitment to delivering a holistic, future-ready learning experience.
