NSBM Foundation Programme for Bachelor’s Degree

This one-year full-time foundation programme equips students with the essential academic knowledge and skills needed to transition smoothly into undergraduate studies at NSBM Green University. It serves as a preparatory bridge across Business, Computing, Science, and Engineering disciplines. The program aims to develop subject knowledge and English proficiency, build self-confidence and academic readiness, enhance specific skills to ensure academic success with focused modules for BEng (Hons) programs.

Entry qualifications

Business and Computing Foundation Programme

  • G.C.E O/L 6 passes (“C” pass for English & Mathematics)

  • Cambridge or Edexcel 5 Passes (Credit pass for English & Mathematics)

Science Foundation Programme

  • Minimum C pass for Science, Mathematics and English language at GCE O/L

OR

  • Minimum C pass for Human Biology/Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics Edexcel and Cambridge O/L examinations.

Engineering Foundation Programme

  • G.C.E. O/L 6 passes (C) including Mathematics, Science and English.

  • Cambridge or Edexcel 6 Passes (C) including Mathematics, Science and English.

  • Completion of any other foreign university-affiliated engineering related foundation program (Subject to the approval of program director).

The NSBM Foundation Programme is carefully structured to provide students not only with subject knowledge but also with a wide range of transferable skills that prepare them for university life and future careers. Throughout the programme, students develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, enabling them to approach academic and real-world challenges with confidence.
