The G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination 2024 results, which were held in March 2025, do not yet have a set publication date, according to official confirmation from Sri Lanka’s Department of Examinations.
This clarification came in response to widespread social media rumours, reporting that the O/L results would be released at midnight on June 21, 2025. These false claims sparked confusion and anxiety among students and parents awaiting results.
The Ministry of Education has made it clear that there is no truth to these rumours. They also cautioned the public to rely solely on reliable sources for updates and underlined that the Department of Examinations has not yet released any formal notice regarding the release date.
