Niigata University in Partnership with University of Peradeniya

On the 22nd and 23rd of May 2025, three representatives from the Faculty of Dentistry and the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, Niigata University, Japan, visited the Faculty of Dental Sciences (FDS), University of Peradeniya. The visit of delegation aimed to strengthen academic ties between the two institutions.

The three representatives, Prof. Kenji Izumi, Dr. Keichiro Okamoto, Dr. Masaru Kaku met with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya, delegating details to further strengthen the alliance between the two institutions, particularly deepening the partnerships between their dental faculties.

There was also a similar discussion between the visiting team and the academic staff of the Faculty of Dental Sciences.

In the hope of enhancing the academic and practical learning experiences and enriching international academic exchange , the three members also conducted a series of mini-lectures for dental students.
