
In celebration of its 75th anniversary, Thurstan College recently hosted the spectacular exhibition, Knight-Ro 2025 at the school premises. With involvement from students, faculty, business leaders, and members of the community at large, the three-day event turned the college into a thriving center of innovation, creativity, and discovery.
From cutting-edge robotics, artificial intelligence, engineering prototypes, and immersive virtual reality experiences to interactive displays of arts, culture, environmental projects, communication, sports, and entrepreneurship, more than 100 student-led stalls encapsulated the essence of the exhibition. Thurstan’s goal of educating students for a future that requires flexibility, leadership, and problem-solving abilities in addition to academic success was mirrored in each zone.

The Technology Zone proved to be a major attraction where guests interacted with student-made digital solutions, inventive machinery, and imaginative designs. At the same time, environmental initiatives emphasized the significance of preserving the environment for coming generations, while artistic and cultural displays honored tradition and inventiveness.
Knight-Ro 2025 was more than a school event. It was a national platform for education that was prepared for the future for Schools, universities, commercial sector partners, and government agencies from all over Sri Lanka to gather and exchange ideas and knowledge. In doing this, Thurstan College confirmed its position as a leader in fostering tomorrow’s innovators, leaders, and critical thinkers.
