Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (CIPM) offers a pool of programs designed for students who have completed their G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examinations. The primary goal of these programs is to provide foundational to advanced knowledge in Human Resource Management (HRM) and other related fields.
Qualification for admission : G.C.E. O/L Six Passes.
Duration : 2 months
Overview : Introduces basic HRM concepts such as HR Planning & Resourcing, Understanding Jobs & Career Paths, Office Administration, Motivation & Communication, Discipline at work, etc.
Qualifications for admission :
CIPM FCHRM with O/L six passes, OR
G.C.E. A/L – 03 Passes, OR
G.C.E. O/L six passes plus one year working experience OR
Students following any other professional qualification.
Duration : 3 ½ Months
Overview : Covers fundamental HRM areas such as Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Selection, Induction & Placement, Contract of Employment, Introduction to Reward Management, Health and Safety, etc.
Qualifications for admission :
Successful completion of the Advanced Certificate In HRM (ACHRM), OR
Undergraduates, OR
G.C.E. A/L with 1 year executive experience, OR
Successful completion of other professional qualification, OR
All those with Managerial experience, OR
G.C.E. O/L with 5 years Executive Experience, AND
G.C.E. A/L three passes or O/L with one year working experience.
Duration : Approximately 12 months
Overview : Provides in-depth HRM knowledge, in areas such as Principles of Management and Management Process, HR Policies and Procedures, HRM and Workplace Spirituality, Strategic Relevance of Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Business Skills, etc.
