Gateway Graduate School Launches Education Pathway in Collaboration with Flinders University

Gateway Graduate School, in collaboration with Flinders University, Australia, launched an innovative education pathway for Sri Lankan student teachers. This exciting partnership offers them an opportunity to pursue internationally recognized qualifications and a seamless academic journey in education, while gaining exposure to global opportunities.

The Gateway – Flinders University Education Pathway provides students with two primary pathway programmes:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (0-5)
  • Bachelor of Education (Secondary/Primary Education)

Students complete the first two years in Sri Lanka at Gateway Graduate School, earning two internationally recognized qualifications from Pearson UK before transferring to Flinders University in Australia to complete their degree.

Additionally, the collaboration is working towards introducing a Master of Education programme, which will be delivered in Sri Lanka, providing graduates the chance to advance their academic careers locally while benefiting from Flinders University’s esteemed faculty and international expertise.

The launch event was held on 24th February 2025, bringing together leaders from the educational sector. The event was graced by distinguished guests:
