Gateway Graduate School, together with Flinders University, Australia and Pearson Edexcel, proudly presents the 7th International Forum for Teachers (IFT) on Saturday, 30th August 2025 at the BMICH, Colombo. This annual event has become one of the most respected gatherings for teachers, principals, and education leaders in Sri Lanka and the region a place where passionate educators come together to learn, share, and inspire.

The theme for 2025, “Inclusive Classrooms: Teaching Every Child, Reaching Every Mind”, is more important than ever before. Today’s classrooms are full of diversity students come from different backgrounds, abilities, and experiences. As educators, we are challenged to ensure every child feels valued and supported. This Forum will help teachers and school leaders discover how to build classrooms that are inclusive, engaging, and student-centered.
At IFT 2025, you will learn how to create learning spaces that celebrate diversity and inclusion, adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs, and use technology and AI in ways that enhance equity without losing the human connection. The sessions will also emphasize the vital role of student well-being and emotional growth as part of academic success.
This event is not just for one group of schools it is open to all teachers, principals, and educators from state, private, and international schools. It is a unique platform where educators come together to exchange ideas, engage in meaningful conversations, and reflect on the changing needs of education in the 21st century. More than a conference, IFT is a movement that empowers teachers to become world-class educators.

The Forum will feature outstanding speakers who will share practical strategies and global perspectives. Dr. Alberto Luis August from the University of Nottingham Malaysia will explore inclusive practices and leadership in education. Professor Gretchen Geng from Flinders University will show how digital tools and Universal Design for Learning can make classrooms more inclusive. Ms. Rasini Bandara, a well-being consultant, will focus on mental health in schools, while Mr. Kushil Gunasekera, Founder of Foundation of Goodness, will highlight values and ethics in holistic education.
