The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education has announced that the application period for the 10th phase of the Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme has been extended until December 15, 2025.
The scheme, originally open from November 1 to November 30, 2025, has been extended following numerous requests from students who sat for the GCE Advanced Level examinations in 2022, 2023, or 2024, as well as those who reappeared in 2025. The Ministry has also taken into account the recent adverse weather conditions, which made it difficult for many applicants to complete the process on time.
The Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme provides an important opportunity for students to pursue higher education without the burden of immediate financial pressure.
