Important notice for all students who sat for recent O/L exam


The Ministry of Education has announced the commencement of Advanced Level classes for students who sat for the 2023 (2024) GCE Ordinary Level Examinations. 

Accordingly, the ministry has taken measures to commence Advanced Level classes from June 04, 2024. 

The Education Ministry yesterday announced plans to immediately commence Advanced Level classes for the students who sat for the GCE Ordinary Level examination which concluded yesterday. 

The Ministry said paper marking of the examination will begin immediately, while Advanced Level classes will commence for students who have completed the O/Level exams before the results are released.

This year, approximately 452,000 students sat for the O/Level examination, out of which  388,000 are first or second-time attendees. 

These students will have the opportunity to enrol in Advanced Level classes by the first week of June.

The Education Ministry revealed that necessary Cabinet approvals have already been obtained in this regard.
