The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education has extended the application window for the 10th phase of the Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme until December 15, 2025, a timely opportunity for students hoping to pursue a BA in Education.
Initially set to close on November 30, the deadline was pushed back in response to requests from students who sat for the GCE Advanced Level examinations in 2022, 2023, or 2024, as well as those who re-sat in 2025. The Ministry also acknowledged the challenges caused by recent severe weather, which prevented many students from submitting applications on schedule.
With this extension, aspiring educators now have extra time to begin their higher education journey without the financial strain of upfront tuition fees. The Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme continues to support students by making degree pathways more accessible, especially for those pursuing careers in teaching and education.
Gateway College, a leading private higher education provider, is now welcoming applications from students interested in enrolling in its BA in Education program. With the loan facility in place, candidates can secure their spot and begin their academic journey with confidence and zero immediate financial burden.
Students who wish to apply for the degree program at Gateway are encouraged to make use of the extended deadline and submit their applications before December 15.
