
Edith Cowan University (ECU) has introduced its Bachelor of Communication degree in partnership with the Australian College of Business and Technology (ACBT) in Colombo. This program allows Sri Lankan students to earn a globally recognized Australian qualification without leaving the country. Covering areas like journalism, public relations, advertising, and digital media, the degree blends theory with hands-on practice, preparing graduates for careers in the fast-changing media and creative industries.
For the first time, ECU has launched its Communication degree outside Australia, giving Sri Lankan students access to international education at home. Learners can complete the full program in Colombo or transfer to ECU in Perth to finish their studies abroad. With modern facilities, industry-standard tools, and practical projects, the program equips students with skills needed for broadcasting, corporate communication, and digital content creation, opening doors to both local and global career opportunities.
