Bonjean House emerged as Champions


-JOSEPHIAN 90TH ANNUAL INTER HOUSE ATHLETIC MEET

The 90th Annual Inter House Athletic Meet of St.Joseph’s College, Colombo 10, was held recently at the College Main ground.

Air Vice Marshal Prasanna Ranasinghe, The Chairman and CEO, of the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka, and a distinguished old boy of St.Joseph’s College, graced the occasion, as the Chief Guest. He is a distinguished Professional and a leader with a robust educational foundation and an illustrious military career. He has won many awards and medals and has the honour of reaching the high echelons in his military career thus bringing glory and honour to his Alma Mater and the Motherland. One such award was the “ Uththama Sewa Padakkama (USP).

The athletes from the four College Houses, Bonjean House, Marque House, Melizan House and Coudert House took part in the keenly contested competitions. Bonjean House emerged as Champions with a total of 365.5 points. The second Place was secured by Marque House with a total of 342.5 points, the 3rd place was secured by Melizan House with a total of 322 points and Coudert House secured a total of 264 points.
